Every student writes one 1–2 page chapter about a community or person who shaped Canada. The class publishes it as Our Canada, Vol. 1 and launches it in the library. Lessons 1–20 fill each student's field journal with one page per lesson, so by Lesson 22 everyone has a bank of ideas to pick from.
